Ugandan’s in Boston Join Protests Against Government Human Rights Violations and Police Brutality!

READER OPINION PIECE: On Wednesday May 11th 2011 from 10:00am to 1:00pm a group of Ugandans in the Boston area congregated at Boston’s oldest city park ‘the Boston Common’ to protest human rights abuses meted against unarmed civilians and activists protesting rising food and fuel prices in the country.

They also voiced their concerns about the continued violation of people’s civil liberties in the current ‘walk to work campaign’. Memorandums were later presented to the Senator’s John Kerry and Scott Brown protesting Police brutality. Below are some images from the protests!
