Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Atlas Performing Arts Center, African Diaspora for Change is having the event of the year: The Spirit of the Diaspora Extravaganza. If you attended our Inaugural Ball, you won’t want to miss this. Building on the UN’s declaration of 2011 as International Year for People of African Descent, ADC has declared 2012 as “the Year of African Ascent!” This Extravaganza will be hosted at the newly remodeled Atlas Performing Arts Center in Washington, DC.

The Spirit of the Diaspora Extravaganza is a night of culture, music, advocacy and networking with ambassadors, elected officials and community leaders. Enjoy authentic African cuisine and more! This Black Tie affair (traditional attire encouraged) will feature some of the leading artists from the African Diaspora representing Brazil, South Africa, the U.S., Uganda and more! ADC will also be launching our ground breaking “Beyond the Vote” Initiative—to find out more, you’ll just have to be there.

Be apart of ADC history!
