Kampala Dispatch | Kampala City as Seen from 10,000 Feet in the Sky
Kampala Dispatch – Recently I returned to Uganda were I had the rare opportunity to see Kampala from what a near perfect sky. It was evident that city planners still have alot of work ahead of them to help improve life in the five boroughs of Kampala. As we did our final descent into Entebbe International Airport I tried to snap some images of Kampala right from Namboole through to Kampala and along Entebbe Road till our touch down in Entebbe.
Entebbe airport has also seen some growth in traffic with Airlines like Qatar, Emirates, Ethiopian, Air Uganda, British Airways, KLM, Gulf Air, Rwanda Air, Kenya Airways and Air Uganda having daily flights. On this particular day I did not expect this level of traffic following the EBOLA outbreak many foreigners were arriving for Dubai, Europe and America. Life along Entebbe road was also business as usual though the Entebbe Express way is long overdue to help reduce on the time spent in travel between the airport and Kampala.
Please note that these images were taken from between 6000-10,000 feet in the sky hence the grainy images.
