KLM Airlines Honors Uganda’s Golden Jubilee with a Free Return Ticket for Texans

In honor of this great moment, the Executive and Board of the Ugandan American Association of Greater Dallas-Fort Worth (UAA-DFW) has partnered with Africa House to bring you a celebration to mark this historic event.

UAA-DFW members and friends have been invited to the 2012 Independence and Inauguration Dinner and Celebration. The dinner will be an official occasion to welcome the new cabinet voted in during the summer and officially have them swear in and take office. Thereafter will be a general celebration for all Ugandans, friends and well-wishers.

The Dinner will include notable dignitaries from the Dallas-Fort-Worth Area and will show case local businesses, churches and general get together with community members. This will be a free event for members. There will be PLENTY of prizes such as an Ipad, laptops and a KLM- flight ticket to Uganda

The Independence Party will commence thereafter with performances; curtain raisers from local artists such as Sera Lubowa-Muhenda, Dizzo etc to the main singer Desire Luzinda

The venue is set, the food is set, the drinks are ready and all that is left is for the Dallas Ugandans to have a wonderful time. In order to recognize the people that laid the ground for this association, UAA-DFW will honor the longest residing Ugandan in the Dallas Fort Worth area; submissions will be needed from the public to any member of the Executive

The prizes for best dressed and best dressed couple which will remain a secret and will be something to look forward to and will be based on crowd participation.

UAA-DFW and Africa House will honor the Longest Residing Ugandan in Dallas/Fort Worth and surrounding areas. Community submits the person of their choice and the year or date of arrival.
Once received, we will do some collaboration of the information and surely a winner will emerge; a suprise gift is in the wings.
