NORWAY DISPATCH ~ Ugandan Artist Herbie Skarbie Kawuma, Awarded exemplary “Price Net Model Award”
The Ministry of Children, Equality and social inclusion has awarded a Ugandan nationality by the names of Skarbie Kawuma as this year’s, Norway Youth Ambassador.
“Price Net model is given to a person with an immigrant background who make a special effort for children and adolescents. This year the award goes to Herbie Skarbie Kawuma for his ability to engage and motivate young people. “
Herbie Skarbie Kawuma can excite and challenge young people with confidence. He is described as a vaccine against bullying because he can see who needs a little extra attention, and include them in the community. It is a pleasure to give the award to Kawuma says kids Minister Inga Marte Thorkildsen.
Children, Equality and Social Inclusion award the prize model year for the eighth time. The prize goes to an adult immigrant who is a role model for children and adolescents. With the price of the Ministry wishes to highlight people who are committed to children and young people’s lives, and who give their own time to them.
Herbie Skarbie Kawuma grew up in Uganda. Dance and music have been the great passion of his since he was a young boy in Uganda. He learned to dance on your own, and had Michael Jackson as his hero. Today he works in the SFO and Asker by Asker culture. Kawuma also runs an orphanage in Uganda where 18 children have a place to stay and access to education.
