SHAWNEE, Kan. – Police have identified the man killed in a rollover crash at 75th and Nieman Thursday afternoon. James Katajwa, 26, was driving westbound on 75th Street when he hit a pole and was thrown from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Katajwa lived in Shawnee, but he is originally from Uganda. He played soccer at Park University. He was a second team NAIA All-American as a junior; honorable mention NAIA All-American as a senior, according to Park University. He graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in International Business. The cause of the crash is under investigation
