Rosemary Nankabirwa is a former vivacious news anchor on NTV and WBS Televisions. She has been battling a rare form of cancer for sometime and is currently admitted at Mulago’s cancer institute. After seeing some disturbing images of her on whatsapp – Ugandan Diaspora News was touched to do something about her plight in form of a GO FUND ME fundraiser. We also applaud other institutions especially NTV that has now joined the campaign to help Rosemary’s fight.

We hope that WBS and NTV where Rosemary Nankabirwa 31, worked can help us further this cause to help pay for some of the medical expenses given her service to the nation.  As soon as we get an all clear from the family we shall proceed and set up a go fund me page for online donations.

Together lets unite in creating awareness about this new scourge that is ending young lives prematurely. Remember Cancer is the new silent killer like Aids – Cancer cases are slowly rising in Uganda today.

Great idea. Good to acknowledge and assist rather than eulogise after death. Keep us posted so that we can offer whatever little we can.

Get well soon, Rosemary. I have a friend who battled breast cancer, a very difficult world of pain but she fought it till she completed her treatment, she lost her hair, appetite challenges etc. so be encourage to fight on.

Honestly i do not know your leaning on matters of faith but Never give up on God, yours may be many days of suffering, but that is only in our human eyes but don’t ever give up on God, He overcame death, we who believe in him should never loose hope of the gift of life He freely gave us upon His resurrection
