Parliament has learnt that State House is broke with little or no money to manage the travels of the president, four months to the close of the 2015/2016 financial year. State House is asking for an additional 70 billion shillings as a supplementary budget to fund the the presidency.
State House comptroller Lucy Nakyobe who is the accounting officer informed the parliamentary budget committee that the funds budgeted for use till June this year were spent by the President during the recent presidential campaigns.

This gov’t has really taken Ugandans for a ride… Not so long ago, BOU was hit with 27B fraud, before they even gave an account, they report another loss of 34B, in total that amounts to 61B, where did this money go??? Now state house needs 70B to facilitate the president’s travel hehehehehhehehe ohh Uganda we continue to suffer
I sympathise with the current regime that is trapped in endless financial demands, less productivity, high expectations to provide services and pressure to entrench itself in power.
Who will rescue Uganda from this abyss?
