The life of the late Pastor Benon Kawaala was celebrated in a special farewell service held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Christ Episcopal Church (Home of Uganda’s St. Peter’s Anglican Church) in Waltham.

In what was a massive Boston send off Pastor Kawaala’s life and ministry were eulogized by the ministers he touched and the community he blessed. After the Church service a special reception was held honoring a dear friend to many at the Victory Family Church International in Newtonville, Massachusetts.

A special thank-you goes out to Pastor Bbosa, Pastor Mildred, Pastor Mutyaba Pastor Katende, Pastor Kasozi and Antioch Ministries in Waltham for all the coordination and a befitting send off.

In a special way the Boston Community should be commended for meeting all the expenses for both the funeral and transportation of the remains of Pastor Kawaala in less than a week. Any other support given will go toward supporting the family and Maama May Kawaala.

Pastor Kawaala’s final journey to his ancestral home in Busoga, Uganda will commence this week accompanied by several Pastors and believers from Boston community. Brasco and Sons funeral home thank-you too for loving the Ugandan community in Waltham.

Uganda Diaspora News attended the funeral service and now brings you some of the highlights of the send off in Boston. Pastor Benon Kawaala Rest In Peace and May and family find the strength to heal and recover from this loss of a loved one.
