By Ronnie Mayanja | UNAA Times Online | On Saturday 23rd April 2011, I saw a rare appearance of two talented individuals gracing a Boston stage. First came; Patrick Ssozi aka P Ssozi who was born in Masaka, a city in the south west part of Uganda to parents whose main source of income was farming. He was followed by a hilarious collection of comedic acts headed by Boston’s very own, Muvawala aka Zontoo Muvax.

P.Ssozi. was making music at age 10 when a family friend gave him a non working toy piano which he fixed and later became an invaluable tool. Since then Patrick Ssozi has developed genius musical instincts that have no boundaries. In 2007 Ssozi joined TW, one of Boston’s greatest and most influential contemporary Christian music groups as their lead vocalist.

His music is an experience, his vocal skills range from traditional afro jazz to mainstream R&B, his signature production style “futuristic Afro” is a unique fusion of different genres.

It was a night to remember when P.Ssozi of the ‘Nezikokolima’ fame partnered with Comedian Muvawala formerly with Amarula family in a concert and comedy that left many in stitches. Among those who turned up for this show included Kampala’s mysterious tycoon and socialite Meddie Ssentongo.

Overall the unplugged show achieved its objective cementing P.Ssozi and Muvawala as some of the best entertainers to emerge out of Boston in the recent past. The show was sponsored by Radio Uganda USA, Multi Professional Consultants, Karibu Restaurant, Copies Plus, UNAA Times Online while the management of the event was provided by Keenote and SooFresh Entertainment!

UNAA Times Online was on hand and now brings you some photo highlights from the Concert:
