Building on the UN’s declaration of 2011 as International Year for People of African Descent, ADC has declared 2012 as “the Year of African Ascent!” This Extravaganza will be hosted at the newly remodeled Atlas Performing Arts Center in Washington, DC.

The Spirit of the Diaspora Extravaganza is a night of culture, music, advocacy and networking with ambassadors, elected officials and community leaders. Enjoy authentic African cuisine and more! This Black Tie affair (traditional attire encouraged) will feature some of the leading artists from the African Diaspora representing Brazil, South Africa, the U.S., Uganda and more!
