The American Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776 is by far the one of the biggest holidays in American history — We hold these truths to be self evident: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.’

Therefore the Uganda community in Boston invites you for the commemoration of this great independence Day with a BBQ at Fillipino Park Watertown behind Watertown Mall. The event will feature Batabazi Nation, Music by DJs Kasenge and DJ Shark. Come and Celebrate with your countrymen as the USA turns 237 Years! Lots of Nyama Choma and Drinks.     I’m Leslie Pieters, Rotary E-Club 7255 President, of New York.
    In our growing club are two members who reside in Uganda.
    Currently in California on vacation, I’m writing my Independence Day message to all but would also like our Ugandan members to feel a part of the festivities.
