Katoto is a show primarily based in native language rukiga whose vision is to promote a sense of identity and culture to the Ugandan people. The pilot of this new show in the offing has become an overnight hit attracting attention from big brands such as Good african coffee, Movit, MTN, UCC and More.
Richards Dream is to be able to have katoto showing on TV and inspire fellow Ugandans to learn their local languages and most importantly preserve their cultural values. Musinguzi’s passion can be summarized as making drawings that come to life.
On Tuesday December 30th at Kampala Serena Hotel Richard Musinguzi will be among the first recipients of the newly introduced Ugandan Diaspora Innovate Award meant to spur talent development and inspire the next generation of Ugandan success stories and innovators at home.
Through their relationship with the Ugandan Diaspora Network these incubators will also be given an opportunity for mentor-ship and the acquisition of scholarships abroad. We are therefore proud to celebrate Richard and other notable Ugandans making a difference in their fields of work.
