Some opposition Members of Parliament have expressed mixed feelings on the deadlock. Hours after the loose opposition coalition The Democratic Alliance again failed to announce the joint presidential candidate, some Members of Parliament have expressed mixed feelings on the deadlock.


Kitgum Woman MP Beatrice Anywar urged FDC Presidential flag-bearer Dr. Kiiza Besigye to allow the emergence of new opposition leaders. The TDA Summit failed to name a the joint presidential candidate on Wednesday.
