Dear Friends,

The families of Mr. Fred Kalema-Musoke of Geneva, Switzerland and Nnalongo Mary Leonie Kayizzi of Lungujja, Kampala, wish to express our sincere appreciation for the love and overwhelming support, condolences and care expressed from relatives, in-laws and friends from all over the world throughout the difficult time when we lost our dear beloved, Barbara Helen Kayizzi Kalema-Musoke, a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

Barbara who was working with UNHCR in Geneva was laid to rest at her husband’s ancestral home at Ggangu, Kyaddondo, Wakiso District.

Special thanks go to our friends and families in Switzerland, USA, UK, France and Uganda. We also extend our thanks and appreciation to the management and staff of UNHCR, IMF and Bank of Uganda; and to the numerous friends and colleagues who often visited her and the family during her year-long battle with cancer; and all those who dined her and showered her with love and seas of flowers.

Barbara was loved so dearly by many, she often expressed the gratitude and blessings that she felt from that love and support by her friends and family. Our grief would have been more difficult to handle without the loving kindness and support of all friends, family and clergy. Please accept our sincere thanks and appreciation for all you have done for us and for being there in our time of grief.

Barbara is dearly missed by her husband, sons, mother, siblings, nephews, nieces, in-laws, relatives and friends. Our dear beloved, she will always remain in our hearts and minds.

May the Lord, Our God grant our dear beloved Barbara eternal peace.

Ever loving family,
Fred Kalema-Musoke
