MOSES A. MAWA Founder, President & CEO SILVERTRUST MEDIA, AFROGLOBAL TELEVISION – CANADA. Moses A. Mawa is the President and CEO of Silvertrust Media, Afroglobal Television, Destiny Harvest and the Transformation Institute.
He founded the Crossover Mentorship Program for youth, the Black Media Association, and has co-founded the Marcus Garvey Institute with Dr. Julius Garvey, son of the legendary Marcus Mosiah Garvey, and their associate Michael Dawson.
As a film and television Executive Producer, Moses has made Synergy, Standing Ovation, The Minister, the Omobella Drama Series and many others. He has produced for the Government of Ontario, Rogers Media, among others.

His Excellence Awards initiative has honoured and brought to Canada Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s daughter Bernice King; Bob Marley’s wife Rita Marley; Nobel Laureate Professor Wole Soyinka; South African music superstar Ynonne Chaka Chaka, and movie stars Vivica A. Fox, Isaiah Washington, RMD, Ramsey Nouah and Jacky Appiah.
Moses is the publisher of Diversity, Destiny, Legacy, Envision and Excellence magazines. He has published dozens of titles in the discover series. Moses also authored the 150 Extraordinary Canadians legacy book with his wife Patricia Bebia Mawa. The foreword was written by Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada.

In 2016, Moses and his team launched Afroglobal Television, a 24-hour global super channel that informs, empowers, uplifts and entertains with programming focused on Africa and the Diaspora. The channel is on Rogers Cable, Bell, Eastlink and Telus across Canada. Moses received the York Regional Police Civic Leadership Award; Reelworld Visionary Award; National Ethnic Press & Media Council of Canada’s Excellence in Media Award, presented by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario; Toronto Police Community Service Award; Harry Jerome Media Award; and the Queen Elizabeth the second Diamond Jubilee Medal.
In 2013, Moses and Patricia were featured on CNN in an exclusive half hour worldwide television special. CNN called them, “The Power Couple” for their impact. Moses holds a B.A. degree in Film Studies from Carleton University, among other academic as well as professional achievements and honours.
